For several years now, I’ve been proud to cover many aspects of healthcare design. From small clinics, to massive VA centers, we’ve shot it all from California to Maryland and down to Florida. Most of that work has been for CannonDesign, SOM, SmithGroup as well as Stantec, on projects like the Braman Comprehensive Cancer Center on Biscayne Bay, Jacobs Medical Center in La Jolla and Cook County Health’s new clinic in Bronzeville, a few miles from the studio. These buildings carry a lot of weight for the people inside them. We try to find the caring calm that architects design into these spaces and show them in a light that feels both nurturing and healing.
