Rich Township High School District 227 consolidated three high schools into one school on two campuses, in Matteson as well as Olympia Fields.  STR Partners led the work in phases, with 85,000 square feet of additions and 117,000 square feet of renovations, followed by a 15,000-square-foot career and technical education wing.  The FAC campus gained an 82,127-square-foot field house with a 200-meter track, band and orchestra rooms, a culinary lab as well as AV studios.  At the STEM campus, new engineering and robotics classrooms sit alongside a manufacturing lab, an aviation lab, vehicle repair bays as well as a construction trades shop.  We made three trips to the school over three years to document STR’s ongoing work as each phase opened.
