Herman Miller : SAYL

Herman Miller : SAYL

Long time client Herman Miller has recently launched the SAYL Chair designed by Yves Béhar of  Fuse Project.  We had the pleasure of photographing some prototypes of this cool design last July.  I set up the 5d2 behind us and captured a little time lapse of us at work.

Chris, that is a big studio. Do you own your own studio or rent it? Considering most of your work is on location, do you see an advantage to owning? to renting?

    Hey Joe,

The studio is actually in a corner of one of the client’s buildings. I really would love to own my shooting space, but considering how much of my work is on location, it’s just not practical. Even the bulk of my studio work over the years has been on location.
