January 2009

There is this crazy little hotel in downtown Minneapolis that I like to stay at.  It’s the Best Western Normandy.  The Decor is almost outlandish, but still fun.  I think I can best describe it as a Tudor Swiss Chalet Façade over a Nazi Bunker.  At some point I think I’m going to do some photos of it, for now this will have to suffice; the view from my hotel room after a night of martinis with clients followed by drinks with long time friend Jon Stone.

My wife was pretty excited when she opened the Nikon D90 I got her for Christmas. I have to admit, it’s a pretty great little camera. I took the train downtown last week to pick up up our license renewals and snuck the D90 out with me…
